Support Worker/Personal Care Worker

Seeking qualified Support Workers and Domestic Assistant Workers in and around the Clayton, Frankston, Dandenong, Glen Iris, Windsor, Balwyn, Box Hill, Carnegie, Mount Waverley, Doncaster, Springvale areas to join our fast growing and culturally diverse Home Care company.

About the role 

 As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in empowering participants to achieve their goals, maintain their independence, and actively engage in their community. Every day is different, and your support can have a meaningful impact on someone's life

 Key Responsibilities:

 ·  Provide personal care and daily living support

·  Assist with community access and social activities

·  Support participants with household tasks and meal preparation

·  Promote independence, choice, and dignity

·  Maintain accurate records and progress notes

·  Build positive and professional relationships with participants and their families

What we are looking for:

·  A genuine passion for helping others

·  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

·  Reliability, patience, and a positive attitude

·  Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·  Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle

·  Relevant qualifications in, Individual Support, Disability Support, or a willingness to obtain

 You'll also need:

• Current VIC driver’s licence

• Use of own vehicle in sound condition and with comprehensive insurance

• Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to apply Balwyn

• Current Police Check less than 12 months old

• Valid First Aid/CPR (desirable)
