Early Childhood Educator (Full Time/Part Time/Casual)

About the role

Condy Park Pre School and Kindergarten Association Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Educators to join our team. The roles are an exciting opportunity to join an established, community not-for-profit organisation that values every individual and contribute to the development and education of young children in a holistic, nurturing and supportive 3-5 year old Kindergarten environment.

What you'll be doing

• Contributing to the planning and implementation of an engaging and age-appropriate educational program that fosters the cognitive, social, emotional and physical development of children

• Providing a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that aligns with the Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guideline

• Observing and documenting children's progress, and using this information to tailor goals, planning cycles and development plans for individual children

• Collaborating with families and other professionals to support each child's individual needs

• Participating in professional development activities to continuously improve teaching practices

• Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies

What we're looking for

• Certificate III or Diploma (or ACECQA equivalent) in Early Childhood Education and Care

• Positive notice blue card (working with children card)

• Senior first aid certificate including CPR and training in Asthma and Anaphylaxis

• Mandatory National Child Safety Training or willingness to complete upon commencement

• Knowledge of QKLG and EYLF curriculums

• Understanding of NQF

• Willingness to see things differently, to challenge preconceived ideas and lead new ideas

• Ability to relate to children, families and team members of various social/cultural backgrounds.

• Commitment to innovative practice in a high-quality early childhood service

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues

• Excellent organisation and time management skills

• Commitment to staying up to date with current best practices in early childhood education

• Minimum 12 months experience working in early childhood education and care settings

• Permanent right to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)

• We have multiple employment opportunities including full-time, permanent part-time and casual. All applicants must be able to work between 7:30am and 5:30pm. Please do not apply if you do not meet this criteria.
