PPS Servicing has proven experience and capabilities in the mining industry with maintenance, construction, engineering design, fabrication and installation of industrial facilities.

Due to the recent award of a major long-term contract, we are expanding our workforce and seeking talented individuals to join our team. This new contract provides ongoing opportunities across multiple positions and offers the stability of long-term project work within a well-established and growing organisation.

We are currently seeking Boilermakers to join our growing team at Sino Iron Project, Cape Preston.

About the Role:

Position: Boilermaker – 2:1 Roster (Shift work & Day shift only available)
Location: Sino Iron Ore, Cape Preston (FIFO from Perth)
Employment Type: Full-time

Within the role, you will be responsible for carrying out welding and fabrication activities in line with approved drawings, specifications, and work instructions. You will maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and compliance while identifying and reporting hazards and working collaboratively with the team to achieve safe and productive outcomes

To be eligible for the role, you must possess the following: 

• Good knowledge and experience in working in a complex environment

• High level of commitment to safety and safe work practices

• Able to work as part of an extended team and unsupervised

• Minimum 1-2 years' work experience as a Boilermaker (experience in mining/resources sector highly desirable)

• Maintenance experience on fixed plant equipment/heavy machinery

• Pipefitting experience highly regarded

• Ability to work in extreme heat (50 degrees)

Mandatory Qualifications / Certificates:

• Trade Certificate - Fabrication Trade (Boilermaking)

• Valid Elevated Work Platform / HRWL - WP

• Valid Working Safely at Heights / Confined Spaces Ticket

• White Card 

• Current WA Drivers Licence

• Applicants holding additional High Risk Work Licence classifications will be highly regarded

Applicants will be required to:

• Undertake and pass a Pre-Employment Medical before commencement

• Be clean shaven & work wearing a P2 Respiratory Mask
