Payroll Officer

• Part-time position based in Somerville
• Salary: circa $75,000 plus super pro rata

About the role

The payroll officer is a part-time role, working onsite Monday to Wednesday week one and Monday and Tuesday week two. This is a key role in managing high-volume payroll in aged care industry, with exposure to SCHADS award interpretation, along with a variety of payroll processes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys complexity and being part of a supportive team, while still enjoying flexibility across the rest of your week.

This role is based at our Somerville office.

As our ideal candidate, you will possess:

• Proven experience processing high-volume payroll in a complex environment
• Strong knowledge of SCHADS Award interpretation and Enterprise Agreements
• Advanced Excel skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience with payroll systems, payroll reconciliations and general ledger processes
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Relevant payroll qualification (Diploma, Certificate IV or equivalent) with a minimum of 3 years' payroll experience
