Cellar Door Bartender & Tour Guide

Cape Byron Distillery is looking for a new team member to join our Cellar Door Crew!

Make a difference in a small team! We are a leading Australian Independent and family-owned distillery producing our range of award-winning Brookie’s Gin products and Cape Byron Whisky.

This is a special role for someone who loves our products, knows their way around cocktails and has weekend, afternoon availability. We have a passion for excellence, sustainability, and giving back to our community. This is a part-time opportunity, ideal for someone seeking up to 15 hours per week and looking to join a close-knit team in a unique hospitality environment.

Cellar Door Duties

• Hosting tours and telling the Cape Byron Distillery story, and educating guests about the art of distillation and Australian native botanicals used in our gin
• Preparing and serving mixed drinks and cocktails
• Complying with liquor license regulations and RSA legislation
• Manage stock, day to day transactions and float counts accurately

Our new team member will:

• Hold a current NSW RSA
• Have weekend availability
• Have strong communication and public speaking skills
• A minimum of 2 years' cocktail bartending experience.
• Be an Australian citizen or have a valid working visa
• Have a driver’s license
• Have a genuine passion for hospitality, premium spirits and creating outstanding guest experiences.
