Sydney Ultrasound for Women (SUFW) is one of Australia's leading specialist women's ultrasound practices, providing expert obstetric, gynaecological and reproductive ultrasound services. We're looking for a Patient Services Coordinator (Reception & Bookings) to join our friendly Northern Beaches team on a 12-month parental leave contract. As a Patient Services Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of the patient experience. As one of the first points of contact for our patients, you'll help create a welcoming and supportive environment while working alongside internationally recognised clinicians, sonographers and a dedicated multidisciplinary team.

About the role
This position offers the best of both worlds, combining front reception with appointment bookings and administration. You'll have dedicated rostered days for reception and phone bookings, so you'll always know what your day looks like.

Working as part of our supportive team, you will:

• Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression.
• Coordinate patient appointments over the phone and manage clinic bookings.
• Respond to patient, GP and specialist enquiries via phone and email.
• Prepare consulting rooms and support the day-to-day running of the clinic.
• Maintain accurate patient records and administrative documentation.
• Support our sonographers, sonologists and wider clinical team.
• Help deliver an exceptional experience for every patient throughout their visit.

About you
You'll enjoy working with people and genuinely care about providing outstanding customer service.

Ideally, you'll bring:

• Previous experience in medical reception, healthcare administration or a customer service role.
• Exceptional communication and telephone skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Confidence using Microsoft Office and computer-based systems.
• The ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment.
• A positive, team-focused attitude and willingness to learn.
• A genuine passion for helping people and delivering excellent patient care.
• Experience with medical practice software will be highly regarded but is not essential.
