About the role You'll work directly with industry-leading brands while being part of a close-knit team where your ideas are valued and your contributions make a genuine impact. We are seeking a confident and proactive Sydney-based Senior Account Manager to take ownership of client accounts, develop strategic communications initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for working across our hotel and hospitality clients.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple clients and projects, has strong media relationships and can confidently manage campaigns from strategy through to execution.
Key responsibilitiesDay-to-day management of client accounts and relationshipsLead client meetings, presentations and communicationsDevelop and implement public relations strategies and campaign plans aligned with client objectivesDraft press releases, media materials, key messages and briefing documentsProactively pitch stories and secure media coverage across print, digital, broadcast and social media channelsIdentify emerging trends, news opportunities and editorial angles relevant to client brandsDevelop influencer, partnership and brand collaboration opportunitiesAssist with new business proposals, agency credentials and pitch presentationsAssist with award submissions and industry recognition programsPrepare and oversee client reporting, WIPs and campaign evaluationsDevelop media kits and supporting communications materialsFacilitate interviews and prepare spokesperson briefing documents and key messagingPlan and manage media events, launches and activationsManage stakeholder relationships across clients, partners and mediaOversee individual and group famil programs, which may involve hosting and interstate or international travelMonitor media coverage, competitor activity and industry trends, providing strategic recommendations to clientsSupport and mentor junior team members where requiredIdentify opportunities for account growth and additional client services
About youMinimum 3-5 years' experience in public relations, communications or a related field, preferably within an agency environmentProven experience managing client accounts and delivering successful communications campaignsStrong understanding of the Australian media landscape and influencer environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong presentation and stakeholder management abilitiesHighly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesStrategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills and commercial awarenessAbility to work collaboratively while taking ownership of projects and outcomesExperience within travel, tourism, hospitality, lifestyle or related sectors will be highly regardedDegree qualified in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related disciplineWhat we offerSydney CBD office locationOpportunities for domestic and international travelProfessional development and mentoringExposure to leading travel, tourism, hospitality and lifestyle brandsA supportive team culture with genuine career progression opportunitiesThe opportunity to play a key role in a growing, award-winning agency
