Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Project Manager to join our team in the utilities sector, based in Sydney CBD. This permanent, full-time role is crucial for overseeing and delivering projects that enhance our service offerings and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management within the utilities industry, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage multiple projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organisational goals.Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, and resource allocation.Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.Monitor project progress and performance, implementing corrective actions as necessary.Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders.Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.Manage project budgets and ensure financial accountability.Facilitate project meetings and workshops to drive engagement and decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years' experience in project management within the utilities sector.Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects.Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Relevant project management certification (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) is preferred.
