Heavy Diesel Mechanics & Maintenance supervisors

Occupation Tasks
 

• Scheduled maintenance and repair to a wide range of equipment in civil, mining and road transport sectors.

• Scheduled shutdowns and rebuilds.

• You will be responsible for carrying out repairs and inspections on customers fleets with particular focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Diagnostics and fault finding.

• Workshop and field service duties as required.

• We are looking for experienced Heavy diesel mechanics, Maintenance supervisors, auto electricians and Road transport mechanics with experience maintaining Mining, Civil and road transport equipment.
    
   

Skills & Experience
 

• Ability to work unsupervised

• Ability to follow site safety policies and procedures

• Positive “can do” attitude.

• Good understanding of all aspects of our trade.

• Previous experience working in the mining, civil or road transport industry.

• Experience with mobile plant and equipment.

• Component rebuild experience.

• Cat, Komatsu and Hitachi mining up to 200 Tonne

• Civil and crushing Equipment

• Mack and Kenworth road trucks

Qualifications
 

• Australian Recognized Trade Certificate as a Heavy Duty (HD) Fitter or Diesel Mechanic for Heavy Mobile Equipment or road transport mechanic.

• Drivers license. HR desirable

• Must have full work rights to work in Australia

• Roster & Flights:

• FIFO or DIDO  2 / 1 ex Perth to various locations throughout WA

• Minesite & Perth Metro work available

• Field service roles - Machine rebuilds and major repairs

• Perth workshop- Mundaring- HD Mechanic- component rebuild experience desirable

• Auto electrician- Perth based with field service work

Essential Requirements: 
 

• Australian recognized trade certificate

• Drivers License- Heavy rigid license desirable

• Experience working with open cut or civil equipment

• Must currently have full work rights to work in Australia
