About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Forklift Driver to join our busy transport and warehouse team.

This is a fast-paced and physically demanding role. You will be required to work quickly, safely and efficiently while helping manage freight, trucks and warehouse operations. Career pathway for the right candidate

Key Responsibilities

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Operating a forklift and moving pallets and freight

• General warehouse duties

• Liaising with Distribution Centres and drivers

• Following up on freight and deliveries

• Adjusting truck schedules when required

• Using a Transport Management System (TMS)

• Using GPS systems to track and manage freight

• Solving problems quickly as they arise

• Ensuring freight is handled safely and correctly

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area

• Working weekends as required

• Ability to work independently when required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current forklift licence

• Forklift and warehouse experience

• Good safety awareness

• Attention to detail

• Strong communication and follow-up skills

• The ability to problem solve and think quickly

• Be able handle hard physical work

• The ability to follow and adjust schedules when needed

• Experience with transport systems and GPS is an advantage

• A reliable and positive attitude

• Flexibility to work nights and weekends
