About the Role

As a Cableway Attendant, you will be the welcoming face of Skyrail, ensuring guests experience the highest level of safety and service. With comprehensive in-house training provided, you will have the chance to progress to Cableway Operator—responsible for the safe running and monitoring of the cableway operations.

We offer part time opportunities (approx. 30 hours per week). This role requires weekend and public holiday availability, with duties commencing at both our Smithfield and Kuranda stations.

• Welcome guests and deliver exceptional customer service

• Support safe and efficient passenger boarding and disembarkation

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation and safety

• Communicate clearly with guests, team members and management

• Assist with inspections, reporting, cabin configuration and emergency procedures

• Take part in ongoing operational, safety, mechanical and evacuation training

• Champion Skyrail’s environmental and sustainability commitments

• A warm, confident and customer-focused approach

• A willingness to learn technical, mechanical and safety procedures

• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safe work practices

• A positive, reliable and team-oriented attitude

• A current driver licence and reliable transport to Smithfield and Kuranda

• Comfort working at heights and undertaking a range of operational duties

• Flexibility to work a Monday–Sunday roster, including weekends and public holidays.

• The ability to pass a medical assessment and random drug and alcohol testing
