Lake House is a 33-room boutique hotel and spa set in six acres of waterfront gardens, home to a Two Chef Hat restaurant and a cellar recognised in the Wine List of the Year Hall of Fame. Family-owned and run since 1984, we've collected more than 100 hospitality and tourism awards — but what we're proudest of is that nearly a third of our guests keep coming back.

We're looking for a warm, polished Guest Services Agent to join our Front Office team. If you've got some hotel experience and a genuine instinct for looking after people, this is where you turn it into a career.

What you'll do

• Greet, check in and check out guests with warmth and easy efficiency

• Handle enquiries and share local knowledge that makes a stay memorable

• Coordinate daily front office operations, guest records and bookings

• Assist with concierge, dining reservations and guest requests

• Resolve issues with composure — ideally before they arise

• Uphold the detail and service Lake House is known for

What you'll bring

• Some experience in guest services, front office or hospitality

• Warm, articulate communication and the ability to connect with anyone

• Calm problem-solving and a real flair for looking after people

• Comfort with hotel booking systems (Opera Cloud highly regarded)

• Professional presentation and a sharp eye for detail

• The ability to stay composed under pressure and work as a team
