Key Responsibilities will include:Identification, sorting and packaging of hazardous/non-hazardous waste for transfer to other facilitiesWorking closely with the HSEQ team to ensure the best outcomes are achieved.Job costing, management and compliance reportingEnsuring correct storage and labelling of outgoing pallets in accordance with regulationsAssisting with lab pack services to various industries, laboratories and school sitesPerforming administrative functions around the daily operations of an industrial warehouseLiaising with staff day to day to ensure chemicals are handled in a safe and suitable mannerSampling of waste for analysis at external laboratories or through external facilitiesResearch, design, develop and implement more efficient treatment and consolidation practices as well as systems and procedures to ensure the ongoing safe and efficient processing of wasteCreating and maintaining systems and documents for reporting purposesWorking within a warehouse and office environment on a daily basis

Who you areYou have a background and passion in Science, Chemistry or related fieldYou communicate well, and your written and verbal style when interacting with peers and colleagues is as friendly as it is consultativeYou're able to complete manual handling tasks safely throughout the shiftYou'll be up to date with safety regulations and standards to ensure we're always operating in a responsible mannerWhilst experience in the waste arena is a nice to have, more important to us is the drive, motivation and resilience required to succeed in a high growth, dynamic environmentYou're competent in computer literacy including Microsoft Word & Excel and highly organised with accuracy - no detail is too small!Having a Forklift license is a plus or you're willingness to obtain one.
