The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer (Civil) to join our Sunshine Coast Operations team based at Corbould Park. Working under the supervision of a Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ), you'll provide engineering support across a variety of road construction and maintenance projects while developing your technical and project management capabilities.

This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in project delivery, work alongside industry experts, and contribute to projects that make a real difference to Queensland communities.

What you'll be doing

As a Project Engineer, you'll play an important role in supporting the successful delivery of road infrastructure projects by:

• Assisting with the planning, coordination and delivery of construction and maintenance projects.
• Supporting project budgeting, programming, monitoring and reporting activities.
• Contributing to the preparation of estimates, tenders and commercial submissions.
• Assisting with procurement activities, including sourcing project services and materials.
• Applying project management principles and systems to improve project performance and outcomes.
• Working closely with project teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
• Providing technical advice and support to operational staff while building strong stakeholder relationships.
• Supporting compliance with engineering standards, specifications and safety requirements.

What you'll bring
