Accountant

What You’ll Be DoingYou’ll be supporting the financial health of our organisation by:Preparing and processing standard month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation)Completing accurate and timely balance sheet reconciliations across all group entitiesAssisting with the Monthly Board Report, including insightful variance analysis and commentaryManaging Business Activity Statements (BAS), FBT returns and statutory reporting obligationsMaintaining the Fixed Asset RegisterAssisting in year-end external audit processesBusiness partnering with department leaders to deliver insights and support strategic decisionsCollaborating with FP&A on OPEX projections and cash flow forecasting
What You Bring to the Team3+ years' experience in a similar finance or accounting roleStrong general ledger knowledge and experience with end-of-month processesHigh attention to detail with solid data analysis and Excel skillsExcellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilitiesA recognised degree in Accounting or FinanceA commercial mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
