About the role
Fluid Building Services Pty Ltd is a well-established remedial building company based in Brookvale, with over 25 years’ experience delivering high-quality remedial building and construction projects throughout Sydney.
We are looking for an organised, reliable and motivated Administration & Accounts Officer to join our friendly office team.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. We are seeking someone who enjoys learning, has excellent attention to detail, takes pride in their work and is looking for a long-term position with a respected local company.
About the Role
Working closely with the Accounts & Administration Manager, your duties will include:
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Payroll processing and administration
• Bank reconciliations
• General office administration
• Preparing correspondence, reports and spreadsheets
• Assisting with project administration and contract documentation
• Liaising with clients, suppliers, subcontractors and consultants
• Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
• Providing administrative support across all areas of the business
• Flexible part-time hours, initially three days per week
• Availability to work up to five days per week when required to provide holiday leave cover
About You
The successful applicant will have:
• Previous administration and accounts experience
• Experience using MYOB AccountRight (essential)
• Payroll processing experience
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A positive, professional and team-oriented attitude
Experience in the construction industry would be highly regarded, but is not essential.
