Yard is hiring a Lending Associate for our growing team.
This role is ideal for someone who already has some exposure to lending and wants to build a long-term career as a Lending Specialist or Mortgage Broker.

We might be completely digital, but we lend across Australia, all from our offices in Barangaroo.
The OpportunityYou’ll work alongside experienced lenders and gain hands-on exposure across the entire lending lifecycle, from initial customer conversations through to credit assessment and settlement.
Over time, you’ll develop the skills, knowledge and commercial judgement required to progress into a Lending Specialist or Broker role within Yard.
This is a full-time, on-site role.

What You'll Be DoingSpeaking with customers to understand their finance needsAssisting with loan scenarios and lending solutionsReviewing borrower documents and financial informationSupporting loan applications from enquiry through to settlementWorking with lenders, brokers and internal teams to progress dealsLearning lending policy, serviceability and credit fundamentalsBuilding strong relationships with customers and referral partners
What We're Looking For1+ years experience in lending, banking or mortgage broking supportExposure to home loans, lending policy or loan applicationsStrong attention to detail and organisation skillsExcellent communication and relationship-building abilityGenuine interest in building a career in lending
Certificate IV in Finance & Mortgage Broking (or willingness to obtain it) is highly regarded.
