The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Business Manager to lead our team at BF Panels, Thurgoona.

Reporting to the State Area Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall operational, financial, and people performance of the site. You'll lead from the front, driving productivity, profitability, customer satisfaction, safety, and quality outcomes while developing and inspiring your team to achieve their best.

What You'll Do:

Business & Operational Leadership

• Lead site operations to achieve business, customer, and performance targets.
• Drive workshop productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Financial Management

• Manage P&L performance, budgets, forecasting, and profitability.
• Monitor KPIs, control costs, and optimise business outcomes.

Customer & Stakeholder Excellence

• Deliver outstanding customer experiences and service outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with insurers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Manage escalations and ensure timely resolution of issues.

Quality & Repair Performance

• Oversee quoting, repair planning, quality assurance, and vehicle delivery.
• Ensure compliance with AMA Group standards and repair quality expectations.

Leadership & Team Development

• Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Drive a positive, accountable, and performance-focused culture.
• Support workforce planning, recruitment, and employee development.

Safety & Compliance

• Champion a safety-first culture across the site.
• Ensure compliance with WHS requirements and drive continuous safety improvement

What We Are Looking For:

You are an influential leader who can engage teams, build strong stakeholder relationships, and drive business performance.

• Experience in a Business Manager, Centre Manager, Operations Manager, or similar leadership role.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&Ls, and site performance.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and motivate teams to achieve results.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• A focus on operational excellence, continuous improvement, and quality outcomes.
• Experience within automotive, collision repair, insurance or a related operational environment will be highly regarded.
