About the role
Based at Murarrie, Brisbane; NOJA Power designs, manufactures and supplies globally a range of microprocessor based, intelligent voltage switchgear providing; control, measurement and communication capabilities.
We are seeking a highly motivated, result driven Assistant Production Manager to support the Production Managers in the day-to-day management of a diverse team as well as contributing to the achievement of our long-term strategic initiatives.
Position Requirements:
At least 5-years’ experience in Production Management;
Experience in staff management;
Experience in inventory & production process including KANBAN system;
High level of computer literacy especially the Microsoft Excel, SQL and database applications;
Superior analytical and reporting skills;
The ability to communicate and achieve outcomes with all levels of internal and external stakeholders;
Impeccable attention to detail;
SAP experience is highly regarded;
Experience in Automated Test System are highly regarded;
Engineering degree qualification.
Position Responsibilities:
Assisting Production Manager in day-to-day operation tasks;
Managing production staff;
Assist, review and implement inventory and production processes;
Data acquisition from SAP using Queries, MS Excel;
Assisting in production automation;
Reviewing and reporting supplier’s performance;
Liaising with Warehouse Managers regarding production time frames;
Production planning to ensure required stock levels maintained;
Manage production inventory systems;
Managing in annual stock-take;
Liaising with suppliers and other departments to ensure deliveries are on schedule;
Attending and organising meetings;
Implement, comply with and enforce NOJA Power quality, environmental and workplace health and safety procedures;
Other relevant tasks.
This is a Full Time Position.
