About the role

Working alongside the Key Operator you will be responsible for assisting in setting up all aspects of the machine in a timely and accurate manner; prepare tooling/materials for the next order to facilitate a quick change-over; keep the work area clean; machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance; perform in-process quality checks; stack bundles; and assist the Operator to ensure the machinery runs at its optimum performance.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in setting up all aspects of the machine in a timely and accurate manner

• Prepare tooling/materials for the next order to facilitate a quick change-over

• Keep the work area clean

• Machine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance

• Perform in-process quality checks

• Stack bundles

• Assist the Operator to ensure the machinery runs at its optimum performance

About you

• A 'can do' attitude and be a self-starter

• Demonstrated performance in current/previous role

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Good communication skills

• Driven for results – actively strive towards achieving team goals/targets

• Ability to work efficiently without direct supervision to complete your duties

• Willing to be flexible in working across other machines within your skillset and upskill if/when required

• Strong focus on quality and commitment to upholding Workplace Health & Safety standards in your own work and that of others
