B1.1/1.2 Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME)

ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an opportunity for a B1.1/1.2 Licenced Aircraft Engineer (LAME) to join our maintenance team.  The current fleet include AT-802, AT-502, Cessna 182, Cessna C208, Cessna A188 and PA-32R-300.  The role is full time permanent located at Parafield Airport, SA. 

On a day to day basis you will perform inspections, troubleshoot, carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance ensuring our fleet comply with regulatory, manufacturer and Part 145 requirements.  We undertake heavy maintenance onsite, your experience in a similar environment would be highly desirable.

If you are not yet licenced, however are actively working towards your licence or currently working in an AME position we encourage you to apply. 

Our LAMEs support an on-call roster, approximately 1 weekend in 6.  On-call days are paid and, if you are required to work during the period of on-call, those hours are paid at the appropriate penalty rates.  

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• Hold, or working towards a CASA B1.1/1.2 license.

• PT6 engine course preferred (provided if required).

• High-Level aviation airworthiness regulatory knowledge.

• Experience in smaller rather than larger aircraft is highly desirable.

• Understanding of relevant aircraft maintenance documentation and practices.

• Knowledge of and experience using Interactive Electronic Technical Publications.
