WellPro is a privately owned Australian company servicing the energy, resource and mining sectors with a range of coil tubing, cementing and fluid pumping services.
We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our high performing team in our Brisbane branch office. Reporting to the Managing Director you will manage budgeting, reporting, and compliance processes, while ensuring best practice in financial governance. You will also liaise with key stakeholders across both the private and public sectors and external service providers, contributing to the organisation's long-term sustainability and impact.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee budgeting, financial reporting and cash flow management
Manage accounts payable and receivable functions, including reconciliations
Assist with investment portfolio administration and property management
Prepare monthly and annual reports for internal and external stakeholders
Maintain strong relationships with customers and regulatory bodies
Contribute to strategic planning, risk management, and policy development
Overseeing pricing and tenders
Process fortnightly payroll in MYOB
What You'll Need to Succeed
Commercially focused and experienced finance professional with demonstrated experience in a financial accounting role ideally in a similar industry
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce or Business (preferred)
Proven experience in financial management, including bookkeeping and reporting
Strong knowledge of budgeting, accounting software, and compliance requirements
Ability to analyze complex financial data and provide strategic advice
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
High level of integrity and commitment to ethical practices
