Senior Accountant | Hybrid | 2 Days per Week

About the role

You will work alongside the Director from the home office initially to learn clients, systems and processes. Once established, the role will transition to a flexible hybrid arrangement. You will primarily support a commercial client using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, while also assisting with clients operating on Xero.

Key responsibilities

• Month-end reporting and reconciliations

• BAS, IAS and payroll

• General ledger maintenance

• Management reporting and financial analysis

• Cashflow reporting and forecasting support

• Budgeting support

• Process improvements

• Liaising with clients and external stakeholders

About you

• Minimum 5 years' accounting experience

• Strong commercial accounting experience

• Excellent Xero skills

• Advanced Excel skills

• Experience preparing management reports

• Excellent communication and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently

• Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience (desirable)

• CPA or CA qualified or working towards (desirable)
