Dental Receptionist (3 Days Per Week)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced and professional Dental Receptionist to join our friendly team at Pomare Dental Group in Leichhardt, NSW. This is a part-time (3 days per week) that will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to our patients and supporting the smooth running of our dental practice.

The part-time position offers scheduling across 3 days per week to accommodate work-life balance. Our hours are 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, with a one-hour lunch break with Monday, Tuesday and Friday as your rostered days.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly and professional manner

• Scheduling appointments and managing the dental practice's appointment book

• Processing patient payments and maintaining accurate financial records

• Answering and managing incoming phone calls

• Maintaining a clean and organised reception area

• Providing administrative support to the dental team as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a dental, medical or allied health receptionist or in a similar customer service role

• Minimum of 6 months reception or front desk experience preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to provide excellent patient care

• Proficient in using dental practice management software and Microsoft Office suite

• Excellent organisation and time management skills

• A genuine interest in the dental industry and a commitment to providing high-quality patient service

• Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency required for this position
