Step into a role where your expertise shapes patient outcomes and your leadership strengthens an entire service. Our Surgical Ward is seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant who is ready to drive innovation, mentor clinicians, and lead with confidence working across the Central Coast.
Clinical Nurse Consultant (Pain Management)
The Clinical Nurse Consultant (CNC) is an expert clinician who provides leadership, specialist advice, and evidence-based recommendations on all aspects of pain management across service groups, multidisciplinary teams, and diverse patient populations. The CNC plays a pivotal role in promoting high-quality, safe, and person-centred pain management practices while aligning clinical service delivery with the strategic priorities and goals of the Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD).
You will make a significant contribution to clinical governance, policy development, practice improvement, education, and research. Working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, the CNC will lead initiatives that enhance patient outcomes, support workforce capability, and drive continuous quality improvement.

About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Proven clinical leadership with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
The ability to formulate and implement policies, guide clinical practice development, and contribute to education and research initiatives.
Proven clinical leadership skills in quality, research and/or education and demonstrated critical thinking capabilities.
