About The Robertson Health Centre

Robertson Health Centre is located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, 15km east of Darwin. It is home to the 1st Brigade & 1st Aviation Regiment. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2800 members, with a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The health centre provides primary medical, aviation medical, nursing, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy and mental health services. It also operates a 22-bed low dependency ward 24/7. Standard operating hours are generally 07:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday (depending on role requirements and specific craft groups required for weekend and on-call shifts).

What You’ll Do

Deliver high quality primary healthcare, including health assessments and vaccinations or monitor and manage patients in a low dependency ward setting Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including general practitioners, physios, mental health clinicians, and dental professionals Support Defence members through injury recovery, chronic condition management, and preventative care

What You Bring

Unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse Minimum one year Registered Nurse experience in acute care, primary health care or military setting Current CPR certification (HLTAID009) Australian Citizenship required (Baseline Security Clearance) Commitment to CPD and ethical, patient centred care Ability to work a 24/7 roster This role is primarily Monday to Friday (day shift) within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
