Kitchen Hand / Production Cook

The Baked Group is a family-owned business specialising in the manufacture and wholesale distribution of premium pies, sausage rolls and savoury baked products. Our products have been recognised with multiple Australian industry awards, and as demand continues to grow, we're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Kitchen Hand / Production Cook to join our production team.

This is a hands-on role supporting our pastry and production team in preparing, producing and packing our award-winning range of products. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, take pride in quality workmanship and like being part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.

Working alongside our Qualified Pastry Cook and production team, you'll assist with the preparation, production and packing of our premium range of pies, sausage rolls and savoury baked products.

Current hours are approximately 6:00 pm to 1:00 am, Monday to Friday, with some flexibility available for the right candidate.

This is a permanent full-time position offering long-term stability within a growing Australian business.

·         Assist with the preparation and assembly of pies, sausage rolls and savoury baked products.

·         Support the production team with basic cooking and baking tasks.

·         Pack, label and prepare products for wholesale distribution.

·         Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the production kitchen.

·         Wash equipment, trays and utensils as required.

·         Assist with stock rotation and ingredient preparation.

·         Follow all food safety, hygiene and workplace procedures.

·         Work efficiently as part of a close-knit production team.

·         Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen or food production environment.

·         Basic cooking and food preparation skills.
