About the role
MacKillop Catholic College is a Year 7 to 12 Catholic secondary college in Mornington. We are seeking a professional, welcoming and organised Library and Front Office Administration Officer to join our team on a casual basis.
As a valued member of our support staff team, you will play an important role in creating a positive experience for students, staff, families and visitors, while assisting with library services and administrative functions across the College. The role offers the flexibility to work on an as-needed basis, providing administrative support during periods of increased demand or staff absence.
The role will involve:
Providing friendly and professional front office reception services.
Responding to enquiries from students, parents, staff and visitors.
Supporting student attendance and general administrative processes.
Support students and staff to access library resources.
Promote reading through displays, recommendations and events
Use library systems and digital tools to support daily operations.
The ideal candidate will:
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Have strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Be able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment.
Be committed to supporting the mission, values and principles of Catholic Education.
Previous experience in a school or library will be highly regarded.
Availability to work across Monday to Friday, with Friday availability essential, and the flexibility to work casual shifts as required
