About the role
Prostek has just moved into a new purpose-built facility and is expanding its Adelaide team. We are seeking an experienced Prosthetist / Orthotist to join our busy clinic. You will have the opportunity to work with a broad and varied caseload, including interim and definitive amputees, and paediatric and adult neuro orthotics. This role suits a clinically confident practitioner who wants to continue to develop their clinical skills, mentor junior staff, and stay at the forefront of prosthetic technology.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality prosthetic and orthotic assessments, prescription, casting, fitting and follow-up care.
Submit reports and funding justifications for NDIS and third-party funders.
Manage a diverse caseload independently while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
Attend hospital clinics and appointments
Support in-house fabrication and liaise with technical staff to ensure device quality.
Contribute to continuous improvement, training sessions, and mentoring of junior clinicians, as well as development of the business in SA.
Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with funding, administrative and safety requirements.
About You
Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Prosthetics & Orthotics or equivalent recognised qualification.
Experience: Demonstrated experience working in a clinical prosthetic and orthotic environment.
Membership: Eligible for, or current membership with, the Australian Orthotic Prosthetic Association (AOPA).
Checks: Current Working with Children Check and eligibility for NDIS Worker Check.
Attributes: Strong communication, organised time management, proactive team player, and commitment to excellent patient outcomes.
