A career opportunity is available for experienced Production Operators to join the Griffin Coal team.

THE ROLE

 Reporting to the Production Supervisor, successful candidates will be responsible for the operation of various mobile mining equipment and machinery to ensure that production outcomes are achieved in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

EXPERIENCE

The preferred candidate will have:

·         At least 12 months of relevant experience in an open-cut mining environment.

·         Demonstrated experience operating heavy earthmoving equipment.

·         Valid WA “C” class driver’s licence (essential).

·         Heavy Rigid Driver’s licence (desirable).

·         Certificate III in Surface Extraction Operations (desirable).

THE LOCATION & LIFESTYLE

Griffin Coal Ewington Mine is located near Collie, a town which is located 45 minutes from the coastal city of Bunbury and 2.5 hours from the capital city of Perth, Western Australia. This is a residential role and as such no relocation package is being offered.
