Motor Mechanic / Heavy & Light Vehicle Technician

About the role

In this role, no two days are the same. You will handle workshop-based repairs as well as on-site field servicing and breakdown calls across a diverse range of machinery.

Key responsibilities

• General servicing, maintenance, and diagnostics across light trucks, 4x4s, passenger vehicles, forklifts, mowers, trailers, and pumps

• Field work, on-site servicing, and emergency breakdown repairs as required

• Supporting seasonal fleet readiness, including bushfire campaign support vehicles and equipment

• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard

About you

• Trade-qualified Motor Mechanic / Automotive Technician (Heavy or Light Vehicle background)

• Hands-on experience working on a diverse mix of vehicles, mobile plant, and small engine/pump equipment

• Willingness to work both in the Morwell workshop and out on site/field service calls

• Current valid Driver's Licence (Manual required; Heavy Combination/Rigid licence is a plus)

• Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, proactive work ethic
