Your Key Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing, designing and facilitating the implementation of solutions in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also be responsible for the overall objectives of project delivery attaining of scope, quality, budget and timeline.

In addition, you will;

Support the Global Sustainability Task Force (GSTF) for your respective region. Enable your people to engage and partake in events. Encourage awareness of and behaviours aligned to our Sustainability Charter. Utilise our sustainability platform (Giki) by taking part in challenges and improving behaviours to be more sustainable. Driving competition and supporting your teams to engage.

The Specifics

Responsible For The Overall Accomplishment Of Assigned Projects Including

Planning and scheduling project activitiesEstablishing and resourcing project roles and responsibilitiesDefining tasks required for the successful delivery to project milestonesMonitoring and reporting on quality and progressDevelops, implements and maintains sound project management and operational practicesEvaluates and reviews project methodologies and offerings for continuous improvement.Leading the client and project team throughout the project lifecycle. Building and maintaining project team spirit and motivation.Setting standards and expectations of team member performance.Developing work methods to craft team function and cohesiveness.Responsible for championing, developing and sustaining a culture of continuous improvement amongst the Service Delivery Department.Reporting on budgets and forecasting figures including revenue margins, staff utilisation and project status.Supports the sales team in responding to bids/tendersEnsuring that improvements made in projects make it back to the pre-sale process to ensure we are efficiently leveraging of our learnings from ongoing projectsGrows and develop long term, ethical, transparent, value based, and outcome focussed delivery partnerships with customers.Ensures that project delivery is customer focussed protecting the interests of both the customer and Gentrack.To abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company.Take reasonable care of your own and other people’s Health & Safety in the workplace.Report all incidents and hazards in your work or in your work environment that may be putting your or anyone else’s Health & Safety at risk promptly.In addition to this you are required to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your direct line leader.

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience in a similar roleGood knowledge of best practice software development methodologies, including Agile practicesGood knowledge and experience in relation to project management practices, tools and methodologiesAn optimistic outlook on life, common sense and a sense of humour are essential A passion for excellence and a commitment to be the best. High levels of energy, sound judgement and determination to achieve with a sense of urgency.High attention to detail.Relationship management and interpersonal skills.
