About the role
Our organisation was established 43 years ago by a group of culturally diverse women with a commitment to elevating the voices and rights of migrant women experiencing domestic and family violence. We remain a strong, committed team of migrant women striving to deliver high-quality, social justice outcomes for families in Western Sydney and beyond. Immigrant Women’s SpeakOut Association of NSW Inc. (SpeakOut) is a leading not-for-profit organisation. We are dedicated to reducing isolation, promoting community engagement, and supporting women’s financial and emotional independence. We provide crisis and long-term support for women and children experiencing domestic, family, and sexual violence (DFSV), supporting them to achieve their goals, and rebuild their lives.
This role provides direct service delivery, including culturally responsive engagement, biopsychosocial assessment, advocacy, case management, and physical and psychosocial safety planning. Child safe engagement is provided to support adult and child safety and recovery; recognising children are directly victimised by domestic and family violence.
This is the ideal role for a passionate and experienced professional who is skilled in working with people from culturally diverse backgrounds and dedicated to providing practice excellence in DFSV.
