About the team –
AIS Clinical Services provides system leadership and clinical support to Australia's high performance system, including National Sporting Organisations, the National Institute Network, coaches and athletes. Our functions are aligned with the ASC strategic objectives to achieve sustainable success of Australia's high performance athletes in the international arena. AIS Clinical Services provides system leadership on matters of integrity, athlete health and welfare and excellence in delivery of clinical services, operating a flexible and agile model to provide the right support to the right athletes at the right time.
About the role –
This position supports the development of an early career high performance sports physiotherapist in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
Based at the AIS campus in Canberra, the physiotherapist will work within the AIS Physical Therapies team to support high performance (HP) athlete outcomes. A targeted learning and development program will be a critical component of the role to support the development of knowledge and skills for integration back into the Australian HP system upon completion of the tenure. The role will require the physiotherapist to collaborate with members of the AIS and NSO performance teams in the delivery of world class physiotherapy support to athletes from designated national training centre programs, HP Camps and AIS Intensive Rehabilitation athletes.

To be eligible for this position applicants are required to be Australian citizens only and must be able to obtain and maintain an AGSVA Security Clearance.
