The Opportunity

Liontown is ramping up production at Kathleen Valley and is hiring Process / Paste Plant Operators to join our growing team in two permanent FIFO roles. These positions offer the opportunity to build a long-term career within a modern, large-scale lithium processing operation — with paste plant experience highly valued as we optimise our full processing circuit.

1. Process / Paste Plant Operator - Crew (8/6 : 7/7 roster)

2. Process Operator - Day Services (8/6 dayshift roster)

1. Process / Paste Plant Operator - Crew Role

As an Experienced Process / Paste Plant Operator, you will be a key member of the Plant Production team, working an 8/6 : 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth, with accommodation provided at our premium Dragonfly Village.

You will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation and optimisation of core plant circuits — including the paste plant — ensuring production targets are met or exceeded while maintaining Liontown's high safety and environmental standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor all major processing plant areas including Crushing, Grinding, Flotation, Filtration, and Control Room Operations (CRO).
• Operate and optimise the Paste Plant, ensuring paste quality, density, and placement targets are consistently achieved.
• Maintain stable plant performance through active monitoring and adjustment of process parameters across all circuits, including paste.
• Participate in shutdowns, isolations, and permit-controlled activities.
• Identify and report plant defects and improvement opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors, maintenance, and technical teams.
• Actively contribute to a strong safety culture and continuous improvement.

As you develop your capability, opportunities exist to progress into advanced operator roles and potential rotational roster positions.

2. Process Operator - Day Services Role

The Day Services Process Plant Operator is a day-shift FIFO role (8/6 roster from Perth), reporting to the Day Services Process Supervisor. This position provides critical operational and infrastructure support across the full processing operation.

This role is well suited to operators who enjoy variety, site-wide exposure, and contributing to plant reliability and improvement initiatives — including those with a background in tailings management.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and manage Tailings Storage Facility (TSF) activities, including inspections and monitoring.
• Operate and monitor the water treatment plant and associated water systems.
• Support and management of the reagent area.
• Complete plant improvement, reliability, and housekeeping projects.
• Prepare and manage permits, isolations, and lock-out/tag-out activities.
• Conduct routine inspections across the Process Plant and TSF.
• Operate mobile and fixed plant equipment safely and efficiently.

About You

• Paste plant experience will be highly regarded
• 1-2+ years processing plant experience, with exposure to flotation and paste plant circuits highly valued.
• Safety-focused with strong communication skills.
• Permit and isolation knowledge.
• Mobile plant tickets desirable.
• Able to pass medical and police check.
