Continued growth has created an opportunity for an accomplished Sales Consultant to join our Maryborough team.

The opportunity

You will manage the complete customer journey—from the initial showroom, telephone or online enquiry through to quotation, sale and handover.

This is a relationship-driven sales role involving considered, high-value purchases. Success will come from listening carefully, understanding each customer’s needs and building the confidence they need to make the right decision.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Converting showroom, telephone, website and social media enquiries

• Conducting professional product presentations and showroom walkthroughs

• Understanding customers’ travel plans, towing requirements and budgets

• Explaining models, features, upgrades and optional equipment

• Preparing accurate quotations and maintaining disciplined follow-up

• Building lasting customer relationships and generating referrals

• Maintaining accurate sales and customer records

• Coordinating closely with administration, production and handover teams

• Representing Goldfields at selected caravan shows and promotional events

• Ensuring every customer receives an outstanding Goldfields experience

About you

You are confident, professional and commercially minded, with a natural ability to connect with people. You understand that great sales performance comes from earning trust, providing accurate advice and following through on every commitment.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Proven experience in sales or customer service

• Experience selling high-value or considered purchases

• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills

• Excellent organisation and consistent follow-up habits

• Confidence using computers and customer-management systems

• A genuine interest in camping, caravanning, touring or four-wheel driving

• A current Australian driver’s licence

• Flexibility to work Saturdays and attend occasional industry events

Experience in caravans, automotive, marine, machinery, four-wheel-drive accessories or another high-value retail environment would be highly regarded. However, attitude, sales ability and customer focus are equally important. Comprehensive product training will be provided.
