About the role

Join the RMH Diabetes & Endocrinology team as an Administration Assistant, providing essential administrative and reception support across the department, with a focus on the Endocrinology Telehealth Rapid Access Clinic Service (Endo-TRACS).

Working closely with clinicians and the broader administration team, you will coordinate patient bookings and enquiries, maintain accurate records and support efficient clinic workflows. This is a collaborative role contributing to timely, patient-centred care for people accessing Diabetes & Endocrinology services.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide safe, efficient and person-centred administrative support to consumers and teams.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, patients, carers and health professionals.
• Maintain accurate records, complete required training and work within scope and policy.
• Contribute to risk management, safety, continuous improvement and service initiatives.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive and psychologically safe workplace, supporting team performance and wellbeing.

About You

You are a customer-focused administrator with experience in a patient-facing environment and a commitment to The Melbourne Way. You bring:

• At least 12 months' experience in a patient or customer service environment.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and information technology skills.
• Confidence working with electronic medical record systems, with EPIC experience desirable.
• A collaborative, patient-centred approach and commitment to quality service.
