The Role

You will lead and mentor an on site team, while remaining directly involved in complex mechanical troubleshooting, precision alignments, and emergency resolutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Primary technical escalation point to diagnose, isolate, and repair complex mechanical malfunctions across high-speed sortation carousels and conveyor lines.

• Coordinate daily shift activities, assign preventative maintenance tasks and audit completed work to ensure strict engineering tolerances are met.

• Fit, couple, and align newly fabricated or overhauled metal components onto active BHS machinery.

• Inspect, service, and calibrate automated baggage diverter devices.

• Interpret complex mechanical engineering drawings and systems to safely plan system shutdowns.
  

About you:

• Mechanical Engineering or Trade qualification

• Proven track record in a supervisory, team leader, or senior maintenance role.

• Experience maintaining heavy industrial plant equipment, high-volume automated logistics networks, or material handling systems.

• Strong work ethic coupled with a high attention to detail

• Outstanding customer focus and ability to adjust your style based on the needs of the customer

• Ability to work autonomously

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Proficient knowledge and experience using technology including mobile communications, applications, and other computer-based systems (MS, Email, Internet).
