H&S Brothers group PTY LTD We are seeking a skilled and reliable Bricklayer to join our team, responsible for constructing, repairing and maintaining brick, block and stone structures across residential projects. The successful candidate will study plans and specifications to determine materials, dimensions and installation procedures, and will be competent in erecting and dismantling restricted height scaffolding, sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials, and laying bricks and blocks in a range of patterns and designs using mortar as a bonding agent.
They will need a keen eye for detail to check vertical and horizontal alignment, along with the ability to cut, shape and polish bricks and stone using both hand tools and machinery to fit irregular spaces. Experience in constructing walls from stone slabs and masonry blocks, installing stone benchtops, and laying segmental paving is highly regarded, as is skill in monumental masonry and lettering work. The ideal candidate will take pride in producing high-quality, durable finishes, work safely and efficiently on-site, and demonstrate strong physical stamina, teamwork and problem-solving abilities to meet project deadlines.
