This is a fantastic opportunity for an emerging construction professional to step into a Project Coordinator role and gain exposure across the full project lifecycle, working closely with an experienced Project Manager and site team.

About the Role

As Project Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of commercial construction projects. Working alongside the Project Manager, you will assist in coordinating project activities, ensuring compliance with contractual and legislative requirements, and helping drive projects through to completion on time and within budget.

You will gain hands-on experience across programming, documentation, contract administration support, and stakeholder coordination—making this an excellent platform for career growth within a national builder.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and coordination of project documentation and delivery plans
• Review drawings and specifications, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues proactively
• Support project programming, including tracking short-term schedules against overall timelines
• Contribute to weekly project status updates and reporting
• Assist with extension of time (EOT) claims, including collating supporting documentation
• Support the management and coordination of subcontractors and trade partners
• Assist in the assessment and documentation of variations in collaboration with the commercial team
• Ensure all activities align with project, business, and legislative requirements

About You

• Previous experience in a Site Engineer or similar role within commercial construction
• Degree-qualified in Construction Management, Engineering or a related discipline - desirable 
• Strong understanding of construction processes, drawings and specifications
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with internal teams and external stakeholders
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes
• Working knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards
