Import Shipment Coordinator

We are a family owned company based at the Port of Brisbane who specialise in container packing and unpacking for shipping and transport industries

We are currently looking to fill the role of Import Shipment Coordinator due to increased ongoing business

This is a permanent role with Salary + Super + Holiday leave loading for the right candidate.

Preferred skills and experience:

• Experience in documentation for import sea freight

• Understanding of shipping & storage requirements for Dangerous Goods (certificate/accreditation) advantageous but not essential

• Exceptional customer service skills with a high attention to detail

• Previous experience using Cargo Wise or similar transport/warehousing system is preferred.

• Experience with XL spreadsheets is desirable

• Understanding of ABF and DAWE preferable but not essential

• Understanding of container chain, 1 Stop and ICS

• Previous experience in container transport and logistics environment is essential.

• Salary paid fortnightly.

• Salary based on experience.
