BUSINESS SERVICES ACCOUNTANT/SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Services Accountant or Senior Accountant with a proven reputation for accuracy, consistency, integrity, and exceptional client satisfaction. Key responsibilities

• Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for companies, partnerships, trusts, SMSFs, and individuals.

• Preparing BAS, IAS, and managing GST reconciliations.

• Providing business advisory and consulting services focused on tax planning and operational growth.

• Delivering comprehensive client management and support.

• Championing technological updates and innovations to drive internal firm efficiencies.

• Liaising with federal and state regulatory agencies on behalf of our clients.

About you

• At least three (3) years of hands-on public practice experience covering compliance, taxation, and business advisory.

• An undergraduate degree in Accounting, alongside completion (or nearing completion) of your CA or CPA qualification.

• Proficiency in HandiTax, HandiLedger, and BGL, alongside familiarity with major cloud platforms such as Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks.

• Strong decision-making capabilities, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
