About the Role: Are you a passionate and dedicated Speech Pathologist looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients across acute and specialist healthcare settings?
Acute Allied Health Services at Canberra Hospital and Health Services is seeking a motivated Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic and supportive team. We provide expert speech pathology services to a diverse range of eligible inpatients and outpatients, delivering high-quality care across acute, specialist, adult and paediatric services.
We are looking for a clinician with excellent clinical and communication skills who is committed to delivering patient-centred, evidence-based care. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, demonstrating a strong commitment to continuous learning, teaching, and quality improvement. You will be passionate about achieving positive outcomes for patients and their families while contributing to a supportive and collaborative clinical environment.
This position offers a diverse and challenging clinical caseload across acute and specialist services, supported by strong professional supervision and a collaborative multidisciplinary team environment. You will have opportunities to contribute to teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives while developing your clinical expertise and advancing your professional career. Most importantly, this role provides the opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of patients and families across the ACT community.
