Team Leader / 2IC

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership role supporting the Warehouse Manager and helping ensure the warehouse operates safely, efficiently and smoothly each day.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Warehouse Manager with daily operations and team performance

• Lead, motivate and supervise warehouse staff

• Coordinate & perform picking, packing, receiving and dispatch activities

• Assist with stock control, inventory and warehouse organisation

• Train and support new team members

About you

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience in a 3PL environment

• Previous team leader, supervisor or 2IC experience preferred but not essential

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Excellent organisation and attention to detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

• Reliable, proactive and able to work well within a team

• Forklift licence

• Good understanding of workplace health and safety
