Key ResponsibilitiesSAP FICO Functional SupportProvide day-to-day SAP FICO functional support within a production SAP ECC environment.Analyse and resolve SAP Finance incidents, service requests and business issues.Perform root cause analysis and implement effective solutions.Support business users with SAP process queries and system improvements.Ensure timely resolution of SAP support tickets in line with agreed service levels.Participate in SAP change management, testing and deployment activities.
SAP Finance & Controlling ExpertiseProvide functional support and configuration expertise across:SAP Financial Accounting (FI)General Ledger (GL)Accounts Payable (AP)Accounts Receivable (AR)Asset Accounting (AA)Banking and Electronic Bank StatementsFinancial posting processesTax and compliance-related processesPeriod-end and year-end closing activitiesSAP Controlling (CO)Cost Centre AccountingInternal OrdersProfit Centre AccountingCost allocations and assessmentsReporting and analysis
SAP Enhancements & ProjectsAnalyse business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.Prepare functional specifications for SAP developments and enhancements.Configure SAP FICO solutions based on business requirements.Perform unit testing, integration testing and support user acceptance testing.Work with ABAP developers, SAP technical teams and other functional consultants.Support SAP projects, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
Integration & Cross-Functional SupportUnderstand integration points between SAP FICO and other modules including:SAP MM (Procurement)SAP SD (Sales & Distribution)SAP PS (Project Systems)SAP PM (Plant Maintenance)Analyse and resolve cross-functional process issues.Support end-to-end business processes involving Finance and other SAP modules.
Stakeholder ManagementWork closely with Finance business users, process owners and key stakeholders.Provide SAP guidance and recommendations to improve business processes.Participate in workshops to understand requirements and define solutions.Maintain strong relationships with business and technical teams.
QualificationsDegree qualification in Finance, Information Technology, Business or related discipline preferred.SAP certification in FICO is desirable.
