Service Technician – Pumps & Fire Protection

Jag Hire & Maintenance is expanding, and we're looking for an enthusiastic Service Technician to join our growing team. Based in Morphett Vale, we travel across all South Australia providing essential maintenance services to commercial, industrial, aged care, and hospital sites.

About the Role
You'll perform service work on fire pump sets and other pump installations, working alongside our experienced tradesmen before progressing to autonomous work after a training period. Full training in fire pump servicing will be provided — no prior fire industry experience necessary.

Our work covers:

• Installation, maintenance & repairs of fire pump sets

• Servicing of Oil Water Separators and other pump systems for industrial clients

• Onsite work across a range of commercial, industrial, aged care, and hospital sites

What We're Looking For

• Experience or knowledge in pumps and/or diesel engines

• Trade certificate preferable but not required

• Current valid driver's licence

• Ability to pass a Police Check and DISP/DSCI screening

• Ability to pass Working With Children's & Aged Care screening checks

• Computer & hand written literacy (reports and site inductions are completed online)

• Current COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (required for work in aged care and hospital settings)

• A flexible, hands-on attitude and willingness to learn

• Permanent, full-time position

• Hours: 7am Monday to Friday, with opportunities for overtime and occasional overnight stays
