Role DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and analytical Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data infrastructure and pipelines. The role involves developing reliable data solutions that enable efficient data collection, processing, transformation, storage, and analysis across the organization.Key responsibilities include designing and implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, integrating data from multiple sources, developing data models and warehouse solutions, optimizing data processing workflows, and ensuring data quality, accuracy, security, and availability. The role also involves monitoring data pipelines, troubleshooting technical issues, improving system performance, and collaborating with data analysts, data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.Strong proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language such as Python, Java, or Scala.Solid understanding of data structures, databases, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases and data warehousing concepts.Familiarity with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.Knowledge of big data technologies and distributed processing frameworks such as Spark is an advantage.Familiarity with workflow orchestration and data pipeline tools such as Airflow or similar platforms.Understanding of data quality, governance, security, and performance optimization principles.Experience with Git and modern software development practices.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across technical and business teams.
