Your day-to-day

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates to join our Housekeeping Department as part-time Public Area Attendants at our beautiful luxury hotel.

• Attending to guest requests, as assigned

• Performing regular cleaning and sanitizing of assigned public areas in line with brand standards

• Keeping cleaning equipment clean and maintained.

• Reporting any maintenance concerns

• Ensuring equipment and pantries are kept clean and maintained.

• Working with a range of chemicals.

• Candidates must be 21+ years of age to handle chemical substances safely.

• Monitoring and controlling supplies and amenities to minimise wastage.

• Assisting the wider Housekeeping Team as needed

What we need from you

• Full and unrestricted working rights in Australia are required for this role (kindly be aware that we cannot sponsor for this role).

• The ideal candidate should have strong communication skills, making it easy for guests to approach you with concerns or compliments, ensuring a positive experience for all.

• Fluency in English is essential.

• Strong reading and writing abilities are important to understand mandatory training, following instructions and using chemicals correctly.

• The role requires good physical fitness, as you will be on your feet for most of the day and need to bend and kneel frequently.

• A friendly, kind and helpful nature and someone who enjoys meeting and working with people from all over the world.

• Your problem-solving abilities will turn challenges into opportunities, allowing every guest to leave with great memories.
