Operations Manager - Contract Logistics (Yennora, NSW)

At JAS Worldwide, our people make the difference. We are seeking a high-performing Operations Manager to lead our Yennora Contract Logistics operation and drive operational excellence across warehouse, transport coordination, customer service, inventory management and workforce leadership.

This is a critical leadership role overseeing a fast-paced distribution centre and ensuring the safe, efficient and profitable delivery of logistics services to our customers.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager, Contract Logistics, you will provide end-to-end operational leadership for the Yennora Distribution Centre.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading all warehouse and logistics operations across inbound, outbound and inventory functions.

• Managing and developing supervisors, team leaders and warehouse employees.

• Driving operational efficiency, productivity and cost control.

• Ensuring compliance with WHS, customer requirements and company policies.

• Monitoring KPIs and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.

• Managing labour planning, workforce utilisation and peak volume periods.

• Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

• Supporting business growth, process improvement and operational projects.

• Ensuring service level agreements are achieved and customer expectations exceeded.

• Maintaining strong inventory accuracy and warehouse governance standards.

About You

• To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience leading warehouse, distribution centre or contract logistics operations.

• Strong people leadership and team development capabilities.

• Experience managing operational budgets, productivity and performance metrics.

• A solid understanding of warehouse management systems and logistics processes.

• Demonstrated experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Strong safety leadership and commitment to workplace compliance.

• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

• The ability to make decisions confidently in a fast-paced operational environment.

Ideal Experience

• Contract Logistics or 3PL experience.

• Leadership of medium to large warehouse operations.

• Inventory management and customer-facing logistics environments.

• Exposure to transport coordination and supply chain operations.

• Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement experience highly regarded.
