We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Director of Nursing to lead one of our residential aged care homes and drive excellence across clinical care, operations, people leadership and quality outcomes.

About the Role:
As Director of Nursing, you will have overall responsibility for the leadership and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, person-centred care while maintaining compliance, workforce effectiveness and operational performance.
Working closely with the Executive Team, you will:
Lead and inspire multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional resident outcomes.
Foster a positive, engaged and accountable workplace culture.
Ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, legislation and regulatory requirements.
Drive quality improvement initiatives, accreditation readiness and risk management processes.
Oversee workforce planning, recruitment, retention and staff development.
Monitor operational and financial performance, ensuring resources are effectively managed.
Build strong relationships with residents, families, medical practitioners and key stakeholders.
Champion continuous improvement and innovation across the service.
About You:
You are an experienced nursing leader who combines strong clinical expertise with exceptional leadership and operational management skills.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Essential:
Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
Demonstrated leadership experience within residential aged care.
Strong understanding of the Aged Care Quality Standards and aged care regulatory framework.
Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop high-performing teams.
Experience managing compliance, quality systems and continuous improvement programs.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Sound financial, operational and workforce management capability.
Desirable:
Qualifications in Management, Leadership, Health Administration or a related discipline.
Postgraduate studies in nursing, aged care or management.
Experience leading accreditation or significant quality improvement initiatives.
